Here is OKARI, my second album. Unlike 4years ago, here there isn’t a global concept that leads the album, rather it is a collection of moments and sounds, without further order as my own experiences. Okari has bases, complex textures and crystalline synths. As a new feature compared to my previous works, we find electric guitars, which unintentionally flirt with electronic pop to which I will come in my next works. The new Rawmatroid compilation is available for free download, and it was a great pleasure for me because 2 of my tracks previously released on Rawmatroid has been remixed by other artist. I feel really lucky about have been selected by Miguel Arrieta, Nil_lo and Biconnection for to remix my tracks. “Rawmatroid puzzle for art’s sake” is the new compilation of Rawmatroid. With this selection of tracks they want to celebrate their second anniversary. My contribution is a melodic piece of the puzzle called Aloof, a special track produced exclusively for them, with the vocal colaboration of Suite. My song “23.976p” was selected in the Wikipeli contest and it appears two times in the colaborative film “Universos” (La Wikipeli de Mahou). “Universos” is a short film made via internet for over 3000 people. The people voted and suggested ideas, anyone could contribute with their imagination and I decided to create an experimental theme specifically for the film. Hundreds of songs were sent to participate and I was lucky to be chosen. My small contribution appears in 2 moments of the film (8’20” and 13’48”) . The sound is not very good and that is because in the edition, the technicians used my demo. Today, I still wondered why no one asked me about the master file. Anyway, I am very proud to have participated. Thanks to José Corbacho and Juan Cruz for this opportunity.

Two weeks ago, Oplus2 was released for free by Rawmatroid netlabel. I´m very happy with the work. A lot of downloads and great comments make me feel very proud. I was talking with the label about future releases and from now, all my Creative Commons works, will be released in Rawmatroid. Many thanks to all team. Download Album.

The release date for “Oplus2” has been delayed. Today, the last track has been finished and now its time to mastering and prepare all songs. Oplus2 is the name of the Dan Hiroshi´s next album: 75 minutes of relaxing music. At first time this LP was going to be an ambient project for relaxing activities like yoga or meditation. Abstract pads was going to be the center of all compositions, but the LP is in constant evolution and new sounds with epic melodies and minimal resources have appear in the first two tracks. For this reason is impossible to know how will be the final ressult. The album will we available at the end of autumn.

The first release of Dan is a little compilation with 6 tracks produced in 2002 and 2003. This songs mix breaks with pads and strings, creating melodic scores. Update February 2010: this release has been remove. In this year, a new remastered edition will be available.
